College and Career Counseling

Because applying to college is an important milestone in high school, the college counseling program is a personalized and supportive one, designed to help each student navigate what is involved in the college search and application process.

Students research colleges to meet their academic, social, and economic needs with the goal of finding places where they can invest themselves both academically and personally.  The college counselors guide and prepare students by providing help in their college planning.  This includes assistance with researching and selecting colleges; preparing their applications, including resume and essay writing; completing financial aid (FAFSA) and scholarship applications; registering for ACT and SAT tests; and, in general, providing the framework for a successful senior year as a backbone for a rewarding college experience.
