Dr. Adierah Berger serves as Head of School and CEO of the International High School of New Orleans after six years as the school's Principal and chief academic officer. Since 2016, she has worked tirelessly to advance the IHSNO's mission of nurturing and educating a diverse learning community for success in today's global economy. Proud of her New Orleans roots, Dr. Berger has dedicated her entire career to the field of education. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from UNO, a Master of Public Health in Health Education and Communication from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Xavier University of Louisiana. Dr. Berger's diverse experiences as a teacher, curriculum specialist, principal, and district leader have shaped her deep understanding of New Orleans' education landscape. Emphasizing collaboration, she works passionately to foster a positive and supportive school culture that values the contributions of teachers, students, parents, and community partners.
