Local health officials have noted a concerning rise in COVID-19 cases across the city. Data from the CDC corroborate this surge. On June 28, Louisiana reported a positivity rate of 6%. A little over a month later, on August 2, the rate had soared to 19%.
International High School of New Orleans is taking all the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of covid 19 among our students and staff. However, we need your cooperation and vigilance to keep everyone safe and healthy.
If your student has COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat, etc.) or has tested positive for COVID-19, please keep them home and report here on this form. Someone will contact you with further instructions. This will help us take appropriate measures, including isolation and disinfection, to ensure we eliminate the virus from our classrooms.
