The courses provide a study at great depth, expect assimilation of information and especially an ability to apply that information. The Core components stretch and challenge students, make learning authentic, and truly prepare them for college level learning. Second, IB assessments are varied and internationally standardized. Through essays, oral presentations and recordings, laboratory work, investigations and more, students are able to give a genuine and accurate depiction of their thinking and knowledge. Third, the emphasis on international mindedness and the IB Learner Profile develop character and assist in molding students to be part of the world community.
